It happened again! What, you may ask...well I'll tell you...
I own my own business, although I work alongside another guy who owns his own business too.
Anyway recently there have been a couple of occasions when his emails were delayed in transit for some reason. So what do you do? We needed to make a decision on something urgently...
What we did was we went into my Video Conferencing room. I took host status and went into desktop sharing took him through into my copy of the information and we discussed things online. Do you have any idea just how convenient it was? I am sure in the past you would have had occasions when you have discussed, over the telephone, something that you are making a decision on and without the visual aspect it can be particularly difficult. The ability for desktop sharing and discussion while you are sharing in a secure environment is just fabulous. It certainly makes for a smoother business operation. All I can say is WOW this latest technology is fantastic and sooo affordable even for the small business owner. Yeah, Video Conferencing!!
